On 29 May 2025, the grandeur of The Graces took center stage at Singapore’s historic Capitol Theatre. Presented by H&B, this one-night-only concert featured a stellar lineup of world-class vocalists: sopranos Seia Lee (Japan) and Yuri Park (South Korea), alongside the commanding tenor Wan Park. From the moment guests entered the venue, it was clear this wasn't merely a concert—it was an immersive sensory experience.
At Expo AV (EAV) and Digital Kitchen Studios (DKS), we were honored to support this production through both technical execution and creative content development. Our goal was to add a layered and deeply emotive quality to the performance.

Technical Precision, Delivered Seamlessly
Capitol Theatre is well-equipped with its own multi-sensory infrastructure. However, EAV's role was to augment and operate the existing AVL systems and integrate our technical expertise and show equipment as needed.
From the afternoon of 28 May, our crew got to work. Sound checks, visual content alignment, lighting cue programming, and system synchronization were meticulously executed. On show day, as soon as doors opened at 6:30 PM, every transition and cue was delivered with precision—coordinated by our experienced show caller. This ensured a seamless flow between live vocals, lighting, and visuals.
Key technical contributions included:
Integration of Audio Console Management specially tailored for operatic vocal dynamics
Live cueing of media servers for content playback on LED walls
Programming of theatre lighting fixtures to enhance each musical tone and mood
Seamless coordination with the venue crew to ensure zero disruption to built-in systems

Bringing Music to Life Through Visual Storytelling
While the voices of Seia Lee, Yuri Park, and Wan Park captivated the audience, the visuals told a compelling story. Our creative team at Digital Kitchen Studios produced a series of animated content pieces, designed to accompany each song’s narrative and emotional journey. These weren't just generic backgrounds; they were emotionally resonant visual compositions that:
Enhanced the atmosphere and tension of each performance
Provided visual transitions for a cinematic flow throughout the concert
Mirrored the tonal shifts of the music with custom motion design and animation
Each content segment was developed in close consultation with the performing artists and H&B producers. This ensured alignment between musical intent and visual interpretation.

Collaboration in Motion
None of this success would have been possible without the close partnership with the H&B team. They entrusted us with the responsibility of elevating their vision. This was not a mere hand-off—it was a true collaboration. Ideas flowed freely, challenges were tackled in real-time, and solutions emerged as a team.
Our backstage crew deserves special recognition. While the spotlight shone on stage, our team focused intently behind the scenes—adjusting cues, troubleshooting issues, fine-tuning systems, and ensuring the show’s rhythm never faltered. Their commitment, professionalism, and quiet excellence created an invisible force behind the audience’s seamless experience.

A Final Note: The Graceful Delivery ofThe Graces
In every detail—from lighting fades to lyrical cues, from stage visuals to soundstage calibration—The Graces was an exercise in precision, artistry, and technical harmony. It was a privilege to help bring this production to life.
And in every way, The Graces was, as its name suggests, gracefully delivered.
