How our AVL crew turned Singapore EXPO Hall 2 into the ultimate Qualifier’s Party

When Herbalife brings its Asia Pacific Extravaganza to Singapore, it brings scale. Running from 18 to 22 June 2026 at Singapore EXPO, the flagship event drew thousands of Herbalife distributors and leaders from across the region for a week of keynote sessions, leadership training, product education, and recognition ceremonies. But every Extravaganza has a moment that goes beyond business - the Qualifiers’ Party.
From 19 to 21 June 2026, SingEx Hall 2 transformed from a convention floor into a high-energy celebration space. And behind the lights, the sound, and the atmosphere that kept the room moving all night, was Expo AV.
Two Days of Build, One Night of Energy
A party of this scale does not come together in an afternoon. The Expo AV crew spent two full days at SingEx Hall 2, rigging, aligning, cabling, and programming before a single guest walked through the doors. Hall 2 is a raw, column-free convention space with 16-metre ceiling heights and over 10,000 square metres of floor area. That is a canvas, not a party venue. Turning it into one required a complete AVL deployment built from the ground up.

From stage construction and truss rigging to speaker positioning and lighting programming, every element was planned to deliver a cohesive party experience. The two-day lead time allowed our team to fine-tune every angle of coverage, test audio levels across the full room, and programme bespoke lighting sequences tailored to the DJ set that would anchor the night.
The Sound: Martin Audio in Full Effect
For the Qualifiers’ Party, Expo AV deployed a Martin Audio system designed to fill Hall 2 with clean, powerful, and immersive sound. As Martin Audio’s representative in Singapore since 2010, we know exactly how these systems perform under pressure - and a high-energy party environment is where they truly come alive.
Martin Audio WPC line arrays and FP12 monitors deployed for full-room coverage at the Qualifier’s Party.
Martin Audio WPC Line Arrays formed the backbone of the main PA system, flown from the truss to deliver Wavefront Precision coverage across the entire hall. The WPC is a medium-format, three-way line array featuring dual 10-inch low-frequency drivers, dual midrange horns, and four compression drivers. With 100-degree horizontal dispersion and peak output of 141 dB, a WPC hang can project over 60 metres while maintaining clarity and musical detail at full rock-and-roll levels. For a room this size, that kind of throw is not optional, it is essential.
Martin Audio FP12 Speakers were deployed as front fills and near-field reinforcement, ensuring that guests closest to the stage received the same clarity and punch as those further back. The FP12 is a compact, two-way coaxial loudspeaker featuring a high-specification 12-inch driver and a 1.4-inch exit compression driver, delivering a well-defined 90° x 60° coverage pattern with 128 dB peak output.
Martin Audio Subwoofers were ground-stacked to deliver the deep, controlled low-end that drives any party. Positioned to maximise bass impact across the dancefloor without overwhelming the room, the subs ensured that every kick drum, bassline, and drop landed with physical weight and precision.
The result was a sound system that could handle everything from peak-hour DJ drops to smooth transitions between sets - full-range, full-room, full-energy Martin Audio performance.
The Light: Beams, Washes, and Bespoke Programming
If the audio was the heartbeat, the lighting was the adrenaline. For the Qualifier’s Party, Expo AV deployed a comprehensive lighting rig designed to transform Hall 2’s cavernous ceiling height into a visual spectacle that moved with the music.
ACME Sagitta beam spots and Pulsar beam/wash fixtures creating mid-air effects above the dancefloor.
ACME Sagitta Beam Spot Moving Lights anchored the beam effects, punching razor-sharp shafts of light through the haze from the truss. The Sagitta delivers an intense, minimised 2-degree beam angle from a 160mm frontal lens, producing 2,340,000 lux at 5 metres. With 10 gobos and 3 effect gobos, plus rapid pan and tilt movement, these fixtures created the dramatic mid-air beam patterns that defined the party’s visual identity.
ACME Pulsar Beam/Wash Moving Lights added depth and versatility. The Pulsar features a dual-head design with four 60-watt RGBW LEDs, offering a zoom range from 2.5 to 28 degrees. This allowed our lighting designer to shift seamlessly between tight, well-defined beams for high-energy drops and wide, saturated washes for ambient moments, all from the same fixture.
LED Spot Moving Lights and LED Tube Lights completed the rig, providing additional layers of colour, movement, and texture. The LED spots added focused accents on the stage and key F&B areas, while LED tube lights were used to create linear visual elements that framed the performance space and added architectural depth on stage to the space layout.
Every fixture was programmed with bespoke lighting sequences built specifically for the DJ act. Our lighting programmer design cues that responded to the music - building intensity through the set, punctuating drops with full-room beam sweeps, and pulling back to atmospheric washes during transitions. This was not a pre-set show. It was a live, reactive lighting performance that elevated the entire experience.

The Night: When Technical Becomes Unforgettable
The Qualifier’s Party is a milestone celebration. It rewards Herbalife distributors who have met their qualification targets, and the energy in the room reflects that achievement. This is not a corporate cocktail event. It is a full-scale party with a dancefloor, a DJ, and a room full of people ready to celebrate.

For Expo AV, the challenge was making sure the technical infrastructure did not just support the party - it amplified it. The Martin Audio system ensured that every beat hit with clarity and punch, no matter where you stood in the hall. The lighting rig turned Hall 2’s vast, industrial ceiling into a dynamic visual canvas that responded to the music in real time. And the two days of preparation ensured that every cable, every fixture, and every cue was locked in before the doors opened.
When the bass drops and the beams cut through the haze and people move as one, that is when you know the AVL is doing its job. Not because you notice it, but because you feel it.
Expo AV: The Go-To AVL Crew
Events like the Herbalife Extravaganza require a technical crew that can deliver scale, quality, and reliability under live conditions. For the Qualifier’s Party, the Expo AV team extended itself as the go-to AVL tech crew, handling everything from rigging and programming to live operation and teardown.
This is what 20 years of experience looks like in practice. It is not just about having the right equipment - it is about knowing how to deploy it, programme it, and run it in a way that creates an experience. From Martin Audio systems that fill a convention hall with concert-grade sound, to ACME lighting rigs that turn a raw space into a visual spectacle, to a crew that builds it all in two days and runs it flawlessly on the night. This is what Expo AV does.
